For the Grid

NH Solar Shares will connect more solar energy to our utility lines. We believe generating more clean renewable power locally strengthens our electricity grid and plays an important role in developing more sustainable communities. The solar energy produced will be consumed immediately by nearby electricity consumers offsetting the need for more natural gas and oil generated electricity. NH Solar Shares will be paid by the NH Electric Cooperative for the solar energy produced and 85% of the value of this power (15% will go toward program costs) will be used for bill credits for participating families.
