Volunteers, including staff from the New Hampshire Electric Coop, came out for the Granite United Way Day of Caring today. The beneficiary is NH Solar Shares for their installation of solar arrays to benefit low income electric customers. Volunteers worked to beautify the site as well as prep for the solar installer, Revision Energy, to come and start the installation.  Revision Energy has already installed earth screws to support the arrays. The earth screws are installed up to 5.5 feet into the ground and are a new and innovative way to erect solar arrays with less ground disruption.
